Chipperfield Media has officially joined the revolution! We have received our Benefit Corporations for Good certification! Being a conscious leader not only aligns with our personal and company values, but it also aligns with our client’s values. With this certification, we are dedicated to running a business that is accountable to people, planet and profit! Why? We believe it’s the best way to do business.
In order to receive this certification, we had to undergo an assessment which determined our degree of commitment and impact on our community, employees, partners, and business processes. Of the total 230 points available, Chipperfield Media earned 216 points placing us in the top 5% of companies who have also earned this certification. While a perfect score is not the goal, the assessment serves as a guide for us to continue to strive towards and always improve our efforts.
The criteria for certification from Benefit Corporations for Good includes:
Environmental sustainability and workplace “green practices”
Leadership and management competencies that support employees, vendors/suppliers, and customers with a focus on values including: Transparency, Authenticity, Diversity/Inclusion, Stewardship and Purpose.
Engagement with community and nonprofit initiatives that support the development of ‘equitable and healthy communities’ as well as vulnerable individuals and populations
Sound and strategic business practices that foster profit and growth as well as metrics to monitor progress on criteria.
